Description
Exit Brewing fell from the minds of two Melbournians, who decided to exit their corporate I.T. jobs and follow their passion for brewing beer. Now the family-owned business is led by founder and brewer, Grum Knight, and offers an iconic core range that keeps true to the founding principles of quality and honesty. Our story began with the release of a Saison farmhouse ale back in 2014. Since then, we have added a few more of our favourite styles including a bold yet balanced Pale Ale, the complex American-style AIBA trophy winning Amber Ale, the rich smooth AIBA trophy winning Milk Stout and a hoppy West Coast-style IPA. These year-round releases are complemented by our limited release program that pays homage to our original numbered batches. We’re a fully independent brewery located in Melbourne’s South East, with a small but mighty team of incredible people who continually strive to keep ‘craft’ at the heart of what we do.

Pours deep amber with a lasting foamy head.Nose shows caramel, pine, cookie dough-like malt, resinous and earthy hops.Flavours include more caramel and resinous pine, a decent kick of booze creeping in and an aggressive bitterness that more than balances out the malt.

A good old fashioned APA. Aromas of pine, grapefruit and coriander. Nice malt backbone and the alcohol is prominent, which I actually don't mind in a relatively light beer.

Sweet flavour of roasted malt, lactose, licorice, dark chocolate and ash in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid.
