Can. Pale gold. Fairly cloudy but not opaque. An inch of white head that lasts really well and leaves rings of lacing that demonstrate by their spacing that the beer is a quaffer. Sherbety mixed citrus aroma - mandarin, grapefruit, lime - with passionfruit and crackers. Fruity but dry and still pretty clean. A brief punch then crisp and decisively bitter at the end. I like the normal version well enough but it's a mite tentative. This is a complete answer.

More Carwyn Canvent action. This looks like a muddy guava juice. From a mouthfeel perspective it felt more like slightly fermented juice (indeed, I'd probably bin it if I came across juice like that in the fridge). Flavourwise, it underwhelmed as it was again just more like bland raspberry or guava juice.

Can. Clear (duh) gold with a 3/2 white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma of lychees, grass, white grapes, pineapple, mandarin, feijoa, crackers. You'd presume Kiwi hops. Fairly sweet with loads a fruit and just a hint of booze. Medium bitterness with some resin and astringency towards the end. I like this but - surprisingly to me - not as much as their hazy double golden ale, despite the aroma for this one being vibrant and clean: it just seems a little simple for its strength.

Can. Amber with a large white head. Aroma of buttered popcorn, mandarin, some pine. Moderately sweet with light citrus and pine, medium bitterness. I quite like the finish and what many may see as a problem doesn't really bother me (although i think I'm not that sensitive), but it just doesn't offer enough for 7.5%.

Tap at the Catfish, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, coffee, chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, chocolate, liqouirce, light lactose vanilla palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Random 330 ml bottle found in bargain bin at Valore Cellars, Cabramatta. Into pint glass, luckily because it pours with an enormous foamy white head. Cloudy amber beer with a few tiny bubbles. Does not look anything like a kölsch, smells like one. Light sweet malt. Very light body. Finish is sweet with hints of malt and fruit. Easy drinking quaffer. Nothing wrong with it.

Can. Opaque orange with a white head that doesn't last. Aroma of wintery oranges, gooseberry, grass. Some feisty notes that nudge up on Thai market but never cross the line into onion chive territory. Medium bodied, carbonation is just on the low side of moderate. A bit of chewed cracker malt and lots of fruity and herbal notes towards a finish that's fumy (zesty top notes and some booze), dry and moderately bitter. Punchy, very juicy. Good - in the half dozen or so NEIPAish things (so far) I'd have again.
