Can. Slightly more polished label design is IMHO damaging to the aesthetic. I fear what that says about me. Dark reddish brown with a cm of light tan head. Aroma is roasty with caramel, some gentle earth spices. Upon a taste the earthy notes are coffee. Seems drier as you drink it but not without body and a slight richness before a moderately bitter finish. Is what it wants to be.

330ml can into glass. From South Melbourne markets. Red/pink beer with a thin white head. Nose is sweet cherry with a touch of malt. Very light carbonation. Tastes like cherry cough medicine. Slightly sour finish. Very lightweight.

Can. Unclear orange with a cm of white head. Aroma of pine, breadcrust, grapefruit, some mango. A little less pine heavy upon a swig, with clean light bread, citrus. Dryish and fairly bitter at the end. Hoped for a little more but pretty good.

Can. Excellent graphic art as usual. Murky yellowish light tan with a thick white head. Mild aroma of Meyer lemon, passionfruit, some lime leaf, crackers. More defined in the taste with juicy but sharp citrus and tropical notes before a fairly bitter and somewhat green finish. Liked the finish. Pretty good.

A sumptuous porter with some nice citrus kick. Aromas of chocolate, caramel, coffee, chicory, honey and toast. There's a challenging lemon flavour in the mouth which gives it an extra dimension. I love it.

Nice full-bodied pale ale. Nice pine aroma with a bit of mango, cantaloupe and lime. Solid biscuity malt flavour underpins the hops in the mouth.

Can. Unclear pale amber with a a 2cm white head. Appropriately coiled aroma with punchy grapefruit, pine needle and underripe tropical fruit sitting on very light bread. Then the malt is a little softer than guessed and the fruit as well as the resin and spicy notes gets a chance. Which I liked but then means there's not quite enough bitterness to make it snap at the end.

Haven’t been to this theatre restaurant — guess it’s a bit like Hunchbax or Witches in Britches. Good to see some innovation in the sector. Can. Golden amber, a little unclear. White head fades fairly quickly. Aroma of grapefruit, kumquat, a little pine & bread. Dryish with a little richness from the breast malt before plenty of citrus and a little resin and spice at the decisively bitter finish. Refreshing, right up my street.

Loads of pine plus chicory and caramel, butterscotch and biscuit. There's quite a lot of toast and a touch of coffee as well in the mouth. Going down like a four percenter.
