Strong passionfruit aromas, plus grapefruit make for a nice start. Similar flavours in the mouth, but there's a lack of malt backbone that make it just a tad disappointing.

Not Stompinator? For shame. Can. Clear deep amber with a large off white head that lasts well. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, grass, some dried and hints of stewed fruit. Booming malt but neither that boozy nor over the top sweet, Grassy bitterness nips things off at the end. I like that it's rich but drinkable.

Can. Fairly cloudy brownish amber with a fine cream head that lasts well. Bready aroma with a real tang to it, some lemon, cloves, white pepper. Only a little banana, which suits me. Dryish but still with enough sweetness and crust to the bread. Quite tangy with a brief fistful of spices at the end. Very refreshing and very fresh. A style I rarely love.

The obvious first one to try in their mixed 6 Oktoberfest Prost Pack. Barely hazy golden amber with a white head that hangs around a while. 3+ Aroma of spices, some lemon, light biscuit. Sweet at first with mildly honeyed biscuit then bitterness that's almost stinging. Decent amount of bitterness but the biscuity character masks the hop aromatics.

Can. Reddish amber with a white head that fizzes away immediately. 3- Funky aroma with bracken and boot polish, way over-ripe pineapple, crackers, as much cherry stones as cherries. Getting rather ointment-like in the taste with medicinal cherries and herbal notes. Dry end with no bitterness. Oak creeps up. This much funk needed something (sourness, bitterness, sweetness) to work with - it's a bit overpowering on its own.

Growler (Milkhead). Clear amber with a cream head. Biscuity aroma with grass. Briefly rich with lightly toasted caramel and biscuit before decent bitterness. Fair enough in a style that rarely does much for me.

Can. Moderately cloudy gold with a cm of white head that fades. Aroma of pineapple, grass clippings, grapefruit, coconut. Fairly clean and not that soft textured with defined pale malt, citrus rind, just ripe tropical fruit. The coconut gets a bit lost until the end. Some pine creeps in. Dryish with firm bitterness at the end. Just slightly astringent. Your real haze aficionado will look askance at this for all the reasons that I like it.

(Can) Pours clear straw yellow with small white head. Nice aroma of pine, citrus, grapefruit, hints of biscuit. Good mouthfeel with medium body and plenty of soft bright carbonation. There’s plenty of hops in the taste, from a refreshing tang at the start to decent bitterness that starts early and persists through whole palate and into a long finish. A hint of biscuit malt at the start. Pleasant and hoppy.

(Can) Pours cloudy straw yellow with big white head. Good aroma with plenty of lime. Medium body with plenty of mouth filling carbonation and a smooth slightly slick feeling. The taste is dominated, in a good way, by lime, and it is sour but not overly so. It finishes on a a softer note, not exactly sweet but with a slightly creamy note. Very unusual and enjoyable.

Can. Clear brownish red with a beige head that fizzes away to the rim. Mellow cherry and autumnal detritus aroma with oak, earth, dark bread. A little slippery, lowish carbonation. Sweet with an underlying rumble of acid - balsamic vinegar, ripe but sour cherries. Soft woody ending with gentle spices. Nicely balanced but just lacks that feral mystery that lurks in some of these sorts of beers. Still, very impressive.
