Growler. Gold with a fluffy inch of white head. 3+ Aroma of light bread and crackers, some lemon, spices. Round and clean with moderate spicy bitterness. Fair enough.

Can. Almost clear gold with a loosish white head. Aroma of grapefruit, tinned tropical and stone fruit. 7- Not much to the malt but the sweeter fruit flavours are joined by a feijoa-like resinous touch towards an end that's moderately dry and bitter. Interesting but didn't love it.

Bottled 9/19. From Craft Republic. Less than clear amber with a cream head that swiftly retreats to the rim. Aroma of bread, lemon, spices, whisky, bracken. Lowish carbonation, medium bodied. Very alive tasting with bread, some plum (the purple, yellow fleshed sort) as well as lemon, whisky and a fair bit of oak. The Brett notes in the aroma are pretty subdued apart from it being dryish. Get again - will be at least as good for 5-10 years.

Can, last one of their Prost box. Dark brown with a 2cm beige head. Lightly roasted aroma with some earth and nuts. Transparent palate with little sweetness, just mild roast and bread with a dryish finish. Low bitterness. Another good one that just lacks a little presence.

Can, as part of their Oktoberfest pack. Very clear pale gold with a good inch of white head. Aroma of crackery bread, some lemon, grass. Sweetish but very light on the palate with pleasant but measly hops. Fresh but disappointingly timid (authenticity of a kind, I suppose).

Strong passionfruit aromas, plus grapefruit make for a nice start. Similar flavours in the mouth, but there's a lack of malt backbone that make it just a tad disappointing.

Not Stompinator? For shame. Can. Clear deep amber with a large off white head that lasts well. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, grass, some dried and hints of stewed fruit. Booming malt but neither that boozy nor over the top sweet, Grassy bitterness nips things off at the end. I like that it's rich but drinkable.

Can. Fairly cloudy brownish amber with a fine cream head that lasts well. Bready aroma with a real tang to it, some lemon, cloves, white pepper. Only a little banana, which suits me. Dryish but still with enough sweetness and crust to the bread. Quite tangy with a brief fistful of spices at the end. Very refreshing and very fresh. A style I rarely love.

The obvious first one to try in their mixed 6 Oktoberfest Prost Pack. Barely hazy golden amber with a white head that hangs around a while. 3+ Aroma of spices, some lemon, light biscuit. Sweet at first with mildly honeyed biscuit then bitterness that's almost stinging. Decent amount of bitterness but the biscuity character masks the hop aromatics.
