Pours black with a light tan head.Nose shoes cocoa, roasted malt, bready and toasty malt in abundance, milk chocolate and very faint liquorice.Flavours include more easy-going roasted malt, massive toasty notes and some nutty, rye bread-like characters. Finishes with a reasonable bitterness to wrap things up. Could use just a tad more sweetness to balance that out.

(Can) Pours clear dark brown with decent tan head. Nice aroma of coffee, with fresh berry notes and a smokey hint. Medium body, smooth with good carbonation. Maybe a little stickiness. Good taste too. Plenty of coffee. Some gentle fruity tartness in the background. There’s some dark toffee sweetness also in the background. A bit of coffee bitterness in the finish. Unusual and very drinkable.

375ml can into shaker. Thanks to Beer Cartel and Ratebeer. Pale amber beer with thin white head, low carbonation. Medium haze. Light fruity hoppy nose. Beautiful taste, really crisp, dry and fruity. Easy drinking but also complex. Looks a bit sad in the glass but quality beer.

(Can) Pours hazy blood red with loose pink head, quite interesting looking beer. Aroma is disappointing - bread, wet cardboard with citrus and berry hints. Medium body with very nice carbonation - fine and bright - and some surprising stickiness. The taste is weird and complicated. There’s bread, and bubblegum, and citric tartness, and hints of blueberry and floral notes, and cardboard and funkiness. It’s sour, but not very sour, for a sour - there’s some balancing sweetness but subtle. The alcohol provides a subtle kick. Complexity is often good, but here it’s mainly confusing. I find myself keeping taking another mouthful, not because it is great, but because it is confusing. An interesting drink.

From a 500ml can on 5/10/2019. Pours a slightly hazy light golden with a small head. Has a light sweet fruit cordial nose. Tastes of apricot, peach and pineapple, with a touch of honey and some zesty citrus in the reasonably firm piney hop finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A very nice, well balanced hazy.
