Light golden amber color. Nice tropical fruity nose. Body was too weak and not enough structure. Low medium bitterness. Not bad but a bit too simple

From a 500ml can on 16/9/2018. Pours a clear deep golden with a small head. The nose is light with some fruity, herbal and metallic notes. In the mouth, there's some caramel, biscuit and bread on the malt side, with some peach and pear sweetness, some zesty lemon/lime sour, finished off by some really big resiny, herbal hops. The palate is slightly slick and the carbonation quite prickly. This is tasty, chewy and has lots of character. I can't believe it's only 6%, as I'd pick as a DIPA if I tasted it blind. Not without some flaws but still very good.

Can. Very dark brown with a fading light tan head. Aroma of chocolate brioche and fruit - lychee, nectarines, oranges, pineapple. Soft and oozy with a pineapple edge. Sweet and luscious with tropical and stone fruit flavours gradually sharpened by citrus and astringent pineapple as well as moderate bitterness. Another good one.

Can, 11C. Black with a small tan head. Roasty aroma with chocolate, licorice, hint of cream. Slightly but tellingly more than light bodied, moderate carbonation. Dryish with bittersweet chocolate, firm roast, glossy licorice straps, then fairly strong bitterness with hints of spices. Very much what i want in a porter.

Canned 16/4. A bucket of sand with a scant coat of white head. Vibrant fruity aroma of pineapple, lime, grapefruit, crackers. Texture is reasonably clean with just a suspicion of grit. Lowish carbonation. The balance in the one is very deft: the fruitiness is a blend of tropical fruit with sharpish citrus, the malt is soft and the bitterness enough to cleanse. Just a little unwelcome astringency at the end. I've not taken to these NEIPAs as much as most, but this is a really good one.

(Can) Pours hazy golden yellow with small white head. Lovely aroma of tropical fruit with pine notes and biscuit hints. Nice mouthfeel- medium body with plenty of fine carbonation. Great taste too. Starts with plenty of fruit, with some peppery spice. There's a lightly malt and hoppy mid palate. There's a bit of a fall away of flavour and then a long pleasant reprise of the bitterness. Very nice.
