Pours amber with a large head.Nose shows piny and resinous hops along with some tropical fruit and heavy clean malt.Flavours include more pine and resinous hops, a fair whack of booze, heavy clean malt and an aggressive bitterness.

Bottle. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma - damp grainy dough and apricots, grapefruit and tropical fruit. Light bodied, highish carbonation. Grainy and fruity with sweet tropical fruit and mandarins being quite quickly overtaken by grapefruit, white pepper and cloves in a dry and fairly bitter finish. Here I like the way the hops work with the peppery yeast notes to produce a finish that whilst a little higher in bitterness has that proper dry and spicy note too. Nice one.

Bottle. Amber with an off white head that’s soon a coat. Aroma of biscuit, some peach, floral hops. Sweet with bread as well as biscuit, some peach, earthy and floral hops with bitterness that grips towards a mildly drying finish. Plenty of beer for under 5%.

Bottle. Clear golden amber with a modest white head. Aroma of grapefruit, bitter oranges , lime, some pine. Quite sweet with peach and light bread, then plenty of citrus and pine. Some untidy twiggy herbal notes before strong bitterness at the end. Just a little solventy there too. Pretty good and only a little off .2-.3 higher.

Clear gold with a modest white head. 3- Aroma of guava, pineapple, light spices. Not unpleasant but it’s without punch. 5+ But that’s misleading. Light bodied and fairly dry with a strongly bitter finish. Tropical and spicy notes are joined by pine needles. Let down by the aroma and for me the bitterness is a little too much for the body.
