From a 375ml can on 4/5/2020. Pours a mildly cloudy golden with a small head. The nose is sweet and tropical and a touch dank. Flavour wise, it's heavy on tropical and citrus fruit (pineapple, mango, orange) and certainly on the sweeter side of things. There's a mild slightly spicy bitterness at the back that provides sufficient counter. Full bodied with a slightly slick mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation. Really solid and enjoyable, if falling just short of a home run.

Quarantinnie. Deep gold with an inch of white head. Almost opaque. Aroma of jammy apricot, pears, guava, orange, pepper, grass, pineapple. Sweet and fruity with a little hop burn that to an extent is OK because it relieves the sweetness. A few swirls made it seem creamier textured but - whilst good - it's just a bit too heavy for me.

From a 355ml can on 2/5/2020 (can lists it as 8.2% abv, yet the blurb on the can says 9%). Pours a deep brown with small head. The nose features lots of caramel, toffee and fudge. Tastes very dessertish, as the name would imply - more caramel and toffee, with some milk chocolate, butterscotch and a touch of salt, against a biscuit and mild roasted malt background with a hint of booze. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation moderate. Could perhaps have just a touch more to balance out the sweetness but it's still a very enjoyable, rich dessert impy.

Can. Pear juice coloured. Nose is pear and pineapple. Tropical punch flavours with a some transient hop burn that doesn't linger. Another in the hybrid NEIPA-WCIPA space...

Can from Redwood. Very very dark brown. No head. Smell of wet coffee grounds. Nutty and malty and some sweetness. Thinner than I'd like, and coffee could be more prominent.

On tap at Belgian Beer Cafe Melbourne. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of hops, pineapple and hints of coconut. The same in the taste. Soft and easy to drink.

Can. Nearly opaque pale orange with a white head that lasts OK. Vibrant fruity aroma with lime, grapefruit, pineapple and coconut. It's really coconutty upon a taste - so much so that it makes it seem less than clean, but a decent nip of bitterness tidies up nicely. Unusual and good.

On tap at Beermash, pours a pulpy pineapple gold with a ring of white head. Nose has flowers, melon, orange blossom, vanilla, even a little coconut creme. Coconut creme ain't my imagination, its there in the flavor too, vanilla, orange, pineapple curd now. Finishes creamy and lightly sweet. 8 3 8 3 14
