375ml can from Peninsula Beverages Co. Hazed pale yellow colour, short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of ginger, citrus. Taste is sweet, tangy, tart, gingery, rum, with some citric notes and warming peppery spice. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, drying warm spiced finish. Quite drinkable.

Can. Misted amber, white head. Aroma of mandarin, pineapple, passionfruit, light biscuit. Light bodied, is indeed crushable on a hot night. Fruity but that gives way to some light pine and spices and a snappy finish. Good.

Odd - almost the same name as previous beer and not as strong as a double. Can. Opaque brownish orange with an inch of white head. Aroma of pulpy mango, orange, some pineapple, vague bread. Perkier taste with citrus and some herbal elements as well before a slightly astringent and modestly bitter finish. Balance works well in the end to make it refreshing.

Pours black with a large lasting off-white head.
Dank aroma or terpenes, resinous hops, chocolate, soft roasted and bready malt. Tempting.
Flavours include soft roast, more dank skunky weed notes, a gentle malt sweetness, a bit of mint. Finishes of the drier side with a reasonable bitterness.

Pours hazy gold with a large white head.
Nose shows super strong raspberry and coconut, almost artificial. Little else.
Flavours are pretty much an iced vovo. Massive coconut followed by a bit of raspberry and vanilla as well as a misplaced bitterness.

Can. Dark brown, ruby highlights, beige head. 6+ Toasty aroma with some chocolate, earth, flowers. More caramel in the taste and it does have some sweetness before spicy bitterness sneaks in at the end. Pleasant quaffer.

Can. Misted pale amber with a 2cm white head. Aroma of passionfruit, vanilla, white pepper, Meyer lemon, soft bread. Quite sweet with orange as well as Meyer lemon. After a little while the passionfruit and some resin start to cut through and into a long fairly bitter finish. Fine use of very fresh Galaxy.

(On tap) Clear pinkish amber with tiny head. Nice aroma of sour beer and berries. Medium body with nice very fine carbonation giving smooth mouthfeel. Nice refreshing tart taste. Tart berries. Very pleasant and refreshing.

Can. Just cloudy amber with a good cm of white head. Aroma of orange, grass, hints of berries, light bread is OK but a little meek. But much more tropical fruit and more vibrant than expected upon a swig. Sharpish bitterness.

Can. Gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of herbal citrus, subtle tropical fruit and toasty notes. Leanish and fruity at first with an increasingly herbal bitter bite. Pretty good and believably a pilsner.
