Bottle. Deep amber with a white head. Mango, cooked grapefruit, passionfruit, hash, caramel. Getting towards syrupy with lowish carbonation. Sweet with a bit of a boiled lolly flavour. Citrus, caramel, lesser "dank" tropical and dope notes than suggested by the aroma. Bitterness struggles to cut through. Just didn’t pop.

Bottle shared by Countbeer, thanks! Opaque black color, full sized brown head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, dark and roasted malts, tar. Taste malts, roasted malts, liquorice, tar, bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Solid.

Dark brown. Not much head. Oily, slightly burnt, a touch of alcohol. Rich, burnt sugars, touch of torched fruit. Kind of a simple character, but fairly intense.

Bottle - Dark roasty cocoa. Deep dark brown with a small light brown head. Dirty cocoa notes, overcarbed and a long light bitter finish. Not great.

Tasting at Matt’s
Black color, beige head. Dark brown color, near black, with beige frothy head. Aroma of cheap chocolate and tobacco. Roasted malts flavor, a bit sour, coffee, heavily roasted nuts.
Weird.

500ml bottle at Matt’s. Aroma is saddle, leather, roasted seeds. Taste is hoppy bitterness, burnt malt. Burnt malt, hoppy bitternesa aftertaste. Strange one :-)

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma smells a bit off, with a slight sour note, and roasted malt. Flavour is heavy on the roasted malt, with some bitter dry cocoa, and an off-putting bitter astringency. Mind-boggling how this has such a high rating. Messy, incoherent and potentially infected. Not impressive.

Bottle. Clear amber with an inch of white head. A new hop to me. Aroma of oranges, cigar box spiciness, bread, minerals. Interesting fruity-but-savoury feel with a hint of old as well as new world hops. Oily with moderate carbonation. Very sweet with caramelised bread crusts, pine, oranges, spices, a little soapy. A bit sticky at the end, certainly doesn’t seem as bitter as 50 IBU would suggest.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a very slightly hazy light amber with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is yeast citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a massive fruity citrus light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Super fruity with well hidden alcohol. Not what I expected at all. Superb.
