Gravity cask at the 2017 Robin Hood Beer Festival, Nottingham. Light golden and clear with a foamy white head on top. Typical lager aroma of raw grain with some hay notes. Taste however is a cut above with a sweetish smokey flavour leading to a drier finish. Smoked malt and steamed banana leaf in the aftertaste. Special.

Cask at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a thin white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is yeast, some light fruit. The flavour is light bitter with a light, watery, yeasty, light sour, dry cardboard, very light peppermint hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at Gloucester Beer Festival, 31/3/2017. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of stone fruits and leafy hops. Flavour had more fruits, some biscuity malts, hint of earthiness and a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.
