Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a glass tankard. Somewhat hazy pale amber colour, small frothy off-white head, slowly dissipating, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, bready, light caramel, lemony notes, herbal hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, biscuit, light caramel, lemon, hit of stone fruit, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, mild malty sweetbitter aftertaste, fruity notes, the fruity touch does it, lingering bitterness, very nice.

Bottle at home, and it might be from a trade from earlier this year, or a present straight from Germany. Anyway, it pours a deeper golden turning copper with off-white head. Nose is hay, honey and light herbal touches. Taste is rich malty notes, hay, bread, honey, and even light biscuits with a fainter herbal touch for balance. Closes with a sweetish finish, has a light to medium body and soft to average carbonation. Wouldn’t be bad but a little more intensity wouldn’t have hurt.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, feinporige relativ stabile Schaumkrone; wunderbar getreidig-würziges Aroma, hellmalzig, aromatisch-blumiger Hopfen; im Geschmack vollmundig, würzig und hellmalzig, trocken mit leichter Süße, deutlicher Hopfen mit mittlerer Bittere, eine fast mineralische Frische. Insgesamt ein kerniges, aromatisches und ausgeglichenes Export.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, schöne feinporige und stabile Schaumkrone; in der Nase frisch, hellmalzig und getreidig mit schönem blumigen Hopfen; im Geschmack getreidig und frisch mit heller Malzaromatik, etwas mehr Bittere als bei einem bayerischen Hellen üblich, schlanker Körper, nur sehr leichte Süße, glatte Textur. Insgesamt sehr stimmig.
