Established in 2013
The story of Radiant Pig begins in a small Brooklyn apartment in 2013 when a former art school student and homebrewing fanatic decided to merge his two greatest passions: art and craft beer. The name Radiant Pig being a mashup of these two passions.
‘Radiant’ is inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat, who was dubbed the ‘Radiant Child’ by art critic Rene Ricard. Pig is an acronym that stands for ‘people in gastropubs’, a nod to our customers and anyone who shares a love for craft beer.
Radiant Pig is a favorite amongst beer nerds and novices serving up everything from Hazy IPAs to sours, red ales and lagers. As demand and distribution has grown throughout the Northeast, we’re working on creating a brewery space and taproom in NYC where people can enjoy our beers.
Admin Note: Radiant Pig was acquired by Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling in 2020 [https://www.brewbound.com/news/radiant-pig-acquired-by-newport-craft-brewing-distilling/]

Can, medium long lasting dense bubbly head, quite clear and intense orange colour, citrus and a melange of tropical fruits, flowery hint behind and a light but noticable malty backbone, medium empathic citrusy piney bitterness. Nice and very well made.

Can shared by Sarah, thanks! Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates the edges. Aroma has citrus rind and light grapefruit and citrus with a hint of grain and herbs backing. Flavor is citrus forward with light grapefruit, a touch of rind and straw backing.

4 pack at home. I always think Radiant Pig is NJ brewery so bought trying to up state rates but another NYC brew for me. Milky yellow pour and few fingers of soapy white head. Nose is tropical fruits, hay, and diaper. Tastes of pineapple, lime, white grape, pepper, green onion, diapers (unused), some funk. Chewy low bitters.

16oz can. Poured a very hazy, almost murky yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was really nice juicy fruit, citrus. Really smooth. Virtually no bitterness in this one. Some light hop tang.
