Tap rating must be backlogged. 12oz bottle. Attractive looking brown black body, Big, steady, rusty beige head..creamy. Mellow dry cocoa in the aroma. The rye gives it more depth I suppose, but not any solid direction, sort of leaning it into brown ale, with chewy amber-maple feel, though the base is certainly more of a classic Stout. Quite easy drinking for the ABV. A quality beverage, rye just isn’t my thing I suppose.

Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you sir! Opaque black color, thin brown head. Nice aroma of earthy coffee grounds and malted milk balls. Taste has Caffe au lait, ovaltine, dark fruit at the finish. Smooth full body. Delicious.

Sampled from the tap at Winter Dabbler. Pours near black with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of ginger coming through with sweet dark grains and chocolate coming through. Flavor is similar with dark grains, sweet chocolate and a bit of ginger.

Pitch Black, Big Foamy Head, Decent Lacing. Light Toasted Aroma. Toasted Malt, Earthy Hops, Bitter Finish. I’d say more like Killian’s Irish Stout than Black Wheat. Nonetheless, easily Drinkable and Enjoyable. This Baaad Boy coming from Sheboygan, WI... Pretty Decent. Worth A Try.

Slightly hazy dark brownish orange color, huge foamy head that leaves lots of lacing. Sweet malt, honey, floral pine hop aroma. Sweet malt, honey, earthy hops, resin. Medium body, long lasting bitter aftertaste. Hides ABV well. Easy to drink. Enjoyed it. Just like a First Kiss it is Memorable. Might long for it and want another one. Could it be that you’re In Love? If you Like the style, then Yes, it is that good. Plus, it comes from Sheboygan WI, a place that has some sentimental value... Recommended.

Tap, nitro of course. Pours clear mahogany, medium creamy tan head, as expected. Aroma is richly roasty, hints of coffee, cocoa, ash. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, rich and roasty, hint of lactose, coffee, dark breads. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Very nice job. Rye not really coming out though.

Bottle thanks to Todd. Pours a dark brown color with a medium white head. A big roast and cherry nose. Soft grainy earthy notes, cherries, some light dark malts/ roast. Quite good, complex. Solid. Not getting much pepper.

Bottle. I really liked this. Thanks to Todd. Pours a nearly jet black color with a medium brown head. A big roast and grainy nose, some vanilla. Big roast and oily rich flavors, vanilla, boozy bourbon, the wheat elements fits in very well. Kind of like a stout. Very damn tasty.
