12oz bottle. Caramel dulled copper body, unfiltered. Very steady off-white head. Big and bitter, all pine, citrus rind. Comes off pretty big for 8.2%. Not really that impressive of an offering for 2015. Pine, pine, pine. OK, but not one Iβd recommend or seek out again. Hopslam this is not.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Filtered yellow-orange body. Not overly sour. Nice balance between the salt, coriander, lacto. Still has a lot of classic brewhouse tones, straightforward golden ale tones. Refreshingly well executed, balanced.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2015. Pours a dark brown with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of earthy dark grains, with some oak, spice and a bit of dark fruits. Flavor has notes of dark grains and roasted malts with a light spice and some dark fruits.

Tap at OF. Super thick creamy beige head. Nice subtle heat, lots of creamy chocolate. I donβt get much cherry, the chocolate seems to have trumped it out. Good.

On tap at HopCat Madison, pours a coppery orange with some bubbly, white head. Nose is a little odd, lemon and resin, some witchhazel and herb too, light spice, malt. Flavor follows, some chewy grain, lemon, soap, herbs, a little sawdust. Finishes astringent and a bit boozy. Heavy handed for my palate.
