Tap at Old Fashioned. Filtered orange-red-tan. Big, foamy off white head. Soapy, brewhouse aroma, not so impressive. Big vanilla cherry amber malt, not enough hops to balance it out. Not outright bad, but kind of a cheap, grainy factory feel. Not one Iβd recommend or order again.

Bottle. Pours a light amber in color with a small thin white head that leaves some nice lacing. Citrus hops and sweet caramel malt aromas. Taste is along the same lines with a nice bitter hop peresence. Nicely balanced malt and hop character. Maybe a little too caramel like for me, but it still is nice.

A hazed golden IPA with a thick creamy mocha head. In aroma, a sweet fruity caramel malt with pungent British hops, vinous notes, butterscotch. In mouth, a sweet butterscotch malt with grassy citrus hops, not bad. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.
