Clear amber pour, raspberry aroma, honey, brandy kind of a bit much

Amazing to me how a brewery can create an IPA this one-sided. Starts off with a huge burst of peach, creamsicle, bubblegum, and a touch of papaya, then…nothing. Pretty much a void on the back end, no real bitterness or lingering fruit notes, just a baseline sweetness that fades into nothing.

Draft pour at Westover Beer Garden. Poured a very vibrant red color, slight haze to it, wispy head. Aroma was big grape, apple, some very light tart citrus? Flavor was light citrus, sweet, but not too sweet for me.

Month old pint can
A: Crystal clear pale mahogany or tea color with little head or lace.
S: Light aroma of green herbs, caramel, nuts and oddly, a hint of coffee.
T: Pretty sweet. Pecan and toffee, then herbal hops and tart plummy notes join for a stab at balance.
M: Medium body, low to average carbonation and sticky finish.
O: Interesting flavor blend but ultimately just a bit too sweet.

Pint at the gas station bar right by the airport. More taps, more affordable & still walkable from the airport.
Rich gold haze, sticky head.
Menthol, very slight berry, dusty modern sweet citrus hop nose.
Big pine & citrus rind bittersweetness, lingering cool menthol, sweet peach.
Frothy, some sharpness & strong acidity,
Lingering itch, astringency, dusty texture, fluffy, punchy abv.
Modern IPA with hazy hops.
Good.
