Tap. If you like IPA, reverse the score. Smells a little fruity, with an IPA floral olfactory. Clear pale with perhaps a color hint of orange. Taste is big IPA, whew. Bitter astringent with very little if any co2. Long bitter biting finish. Too much for these lager loven tste buds except its one of the stronger flavored APA I’ve had.

Sampled on draft at Independent Brewing this beer poured a murky brown color with a medium sized foamy tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tart, citric and herbal with notes of nutmeg, a hint of mustiness, vague fruits and a slight medicinal presence. The flavor was gingerbread with tart fruity hops, a but of yeast, nutmeg, a chalky and perfumey note and a touch of medicine. Long finish. Medium body. Alcohol well controlled. Ok.

Wasn’t expecting much but once I got a glass of this I was quite surprised. Pretty dark and a little roasty on the nose. Some coffee and some roasty wood on the tongue. Barely any co2. Comes across pretty good. Much better than expected. Yes, a friendly & easy to deal with brew. Could drink a few fo these. Fairly good slightly burned finish. Reminds me of old wet burned campfire wood. A little welcoming sweetness on the finish.

Awesome beer. Pours a mostly cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A big resinous candied tangerine nose. The flavor continues the sweeter side with resin, oranges, light bitterness. Lemon zest. Big. Flavorful. These guys are making good beer.
