A garage project in 2014 to Asia's & India's first Meadery in 2018 - this is the journey of Rohan Rehani and Nitin Vishwas and the creation of Moonshine. Meads are the oldest and the most versatile drink known to mankind, and Moonshine's mission is to bring back the elixir of the Gods to this & future-century lovers of all things craft. Our USP is the ingredients that we constantly experiment with, to bring fresh varieties of meads that take your palate on a soothing journey while you sit back, relax and lower your inhibitions!

Panda from Colin. Cheers ears. Clear light gold. Lively frothy white head burns itself out. Aroma is sweet with a sour edge. Yeah... honey... and, I guess, pineapple. Slightly smokey periphery. Flavourwise it's sweet with a light sourness and a hint of a bitter edge. Light. Thin to slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. It's not too bad.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Golden amber colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of lemon citric, tea, honey hint, flowery. Taste is sweetish, earl grey tea, lemon citrusy, blossom, alittle honey, with some tartness and tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying lemon citric tea tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Clear pale golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of phenol, rubber, smoked meat, iodine, citric hint. Taste is sweetish, pineapple, smoke, rubbery, some honey, floral, citrus, with lingering meaty & iodine notes. Light to medium bodied, fine carbonation, lingering sweet light honey & smoke at the finish. Not what I was expecting, but quite drinkable.

Pale yellow to golden with a white cap that thins to spotting.
Nose is burnt rubber, herb, lemon rind, charred pineapple.
Taste comprises charred pineapple, faint smoke, trace of honey, sugars, bitter sweet.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
As with the other mead I've just had ... delivers on the flavour profile very well ... wouldn't want too much mind!

Okay for a low strength mead ... delivers the lemon tea well enought.

Bottle, shared on Eurostar to Brussels 6th Nov 2025. Pours clear dark gold. Malty base with the lemon & honey combo working well, mild tea vibes. Initially sweet then a dry finish.

Bottle at home, very pale coloured, aroma is fruit, guava, honey. Taste is the same, guava, chili burn, sweet. no carbonation whatsoever. not bad.
