12oz canned 8/17/23, drunk 9/22/24. Nice, a 13 month old can of hefe, but it's from the cooler, so....Lightly cloudy, bronze-maize. Small, off-white head sits at solid cover. Nutty wheat, popcorn, salt and lemon with low bubble gum and clove. Low banana. Clean, malty, wheaty example. Spicy phenol with big white pepper but not big clove. Soft, chewy wheat and banana, low bubble gum. Lots of chewy wheat textures, good depth, good dryness. Really lovely example without any obnoxious esters and phenols.

Bottle pour shared by ClarkVV --thanks, Clark! Opaque black with no head or lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, toffee. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Not getting whiskey at all (so disappointing in that regard) but decent stout without.

500 ml bottle shared by ClarkVV. From the brewery. Thank you! Aroma is molasses, chocolate, malt, and soft bourbon. Flavor falls the aroma. A lot of roasted malt with soft whiskey. Very traditional imperial Stout. I like it!

Undated Bottle drunk 8/31/24. Clear, dark. Small, tan head. Beans and cocoa outdo the barrel, which is a bit concerning. Very traditional RIS. Chocolatey coffee and nuts. Not boozey. Sweet and malty, great mix of chocolate, tar, molasses and mild bourbon. Sticky, lightly alcoholic, very malty. Rich. Strong, fruity yeast. Not exactly polished, though it's rich and malty. Maybe a bit too sweet. Bourbon is incredibly light, concernedly so

500mL from the brewery drunk 8/31/24. Clear peach-brass. Small, white head to ring. Red wine foremost followed by oak and lastly light Brett. Mellow, easygoing though definite wine tannin dryness. No booze. Soft, super soft and mellow actually. Honey and red wine but very low acid and tannin. Cracker and biscuit with a bit of peppery bitterness on the finish, alongside fruity grape and gentle Brett. A little more snappy dryness would go a long way, but I appreciate the maltiness here.

500 ml bottle shared by ClarkVV. Dude, thanks! When was the good amount of red wine with soft oak. Mild Brett that doesnβt overwhelm the palate. Mildly funky but it is mostly oak and red wine.

Brewery draught, 7/6/24. Nose is spicy, earthy, herbal noble hops. Big malts with more hop notes of pepper and finally fruity yeast. Clean. Clean and malty, zesty, peppery, spicy hops with so much malt depth and mildly fruity (stone fruit) yeast. So elegant, malty and balanced.
