Draft taster at Great Lost Bear. Clear deep amber color medium tan head. Aroma of caramel, dates, banana. Taste has burnt caramel, dark fruit. OK

4 oz. draft at Manie Beer Cafe. Light pinkish color, no head. Aroma is raspberry, cherry, and weak wood. Flavor is light in berries, light lactic acid, and a mild woody finish. Pretty tame overall but... that is what I like about it,

Somewhere in Maine: pours pale hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is spicy with bananas and bubblegum. Taste is lightly sweet and spicy. Pretty smooth and easy to drink.

From some place in Maine: pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is very light, bready and lightly fruited. Taste is a bit watery. Very light. Slightly sweet. Does the trick.

500ml bottle. dark brown in color. Aroma is light yeast, mild raisins, some dark bread. Malty aroma with weak yeast, slight banana hints with dark rye bread flavors in the finish. The body and mouthfeel is lacking. I don’t pick up much German yeast at all.

I used to really love this style and still enjoy the authentic German examples. This is nowhere close to the German brews in the style.(I was hoping it would be)

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and milky sour. Slight wooden. Sweet, bretty and milky. Medium dry and sourish milky finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a tan head. Aroma is wooden, sour and slight fruity. Sweet, fruity, wineous and slight wooden. Lingering malty and slight fruity into the far finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow, white head. Aroma is grassy and straw. Grassy and slight grainy. Mild sweet and grassy finish. Lingering fruity and slight grassy finish.
