Draft - Saline and herbal notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Lots of saline and a clean finish. Just enough salt to be brigh and refreshing, but no complexity.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2018. As others mentioned labeled as 1856, possible typo because no trace of such beer. Cloudy golden with small white head. Fruity, citrus, lemon, moderate saltiness, light sourness. Low carbonation. Light bodied.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly hazy dark gold with moderate white foam, medium grain. Aroma is weakly aromatic and malty. Body is avatar with marked carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet with decent bitterness (for an APA). Finish is average.

Draft at Arrogant Sour Festival 2018 as Goslar 1856, close enough for Italy. Hazy to cloudy pale yellow color. Earthy lemon aroma. Taste is salty citrus.

Dec. '16. A 0.33 l bottle, thanks Marko for sharing! It poured a hazy brownish body with a small head. Fine and complex malty aroma - cocoa, biscuit, cooked fruits, especially dark one, with distinct spicy cinnamon. Flavor was lightly sweet and totally weird. Like its nose suggested, it was aromatic with cinnamon, but sweet malts complemented it very well, with notes of cocoa, cooked plums, some caramel, biscuit and especially vanilla. Didn't stop there, light herbal hops were cutting though it to balance it out, at least a little bit. Full body with relatively low carbonation. Long finish, following the spicy and complex flavor. Almost like a glühbier, a very interesting release from this brewery. And very well done as well in all its peculiarity.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours crisp gold with limited white foam, fine. Aroma is sweet honey and herbal/piney. Body is average but with little to no carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet and with very limited bitterness. Only a bit in the final, which is average.

33cl bottle from AbeerVunum, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark gold, almost amber, with limited white foam, very fine. Aroma is floral and honey. Body is dense, sticky and with moderate carbonation. Taste is honey sweet, with limited bitterness and a pleasant liquor feeling. Finish is not long, however.
