From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with limited brownish foam, very fine. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, liquor. Body is average, but with practically absent carbonation. Taste is moderate sweet, with the roasted feeling being evident. Finish if relatively short.

From the pump at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours an uninspiring brown gold with very fine white foam. Aroma is delicate citrus and some malty. Body is average, with almost no carbonation (expected as such). Taste is a nice combination of butter and citrus. Finish is average, with some leftover bitterness.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, herbs, malt, and caramel. The flavor is malt, spices, straw, and caramel, leading to a dry spicy finisih.

Thanks heavy (and Erna!). Poured a misty red-amber body with an off white head. Complex aroma, caramel, dry fruitiness, plum liqueur, cinnamon. Soft, heavy malty taste, ending dry, caramelly and spicy, light banana. Light yeasty/meaty notes offset what’s generally a well executed, complex spice beer. Generally pleasant and I’m definitely glad to have tried it.

From bottle, at Grand Cru, Santarcangelo, Italy. Beer is hazy amber. Aroma shows the spices used, plus caramel and strong alcohol. Taste is very nice and consistent with aroma. The beer is rather sweet but it variances this with its spiciness. Some gluey sweet remains on tongue after drinking. Draft at FOB. It pours dark gold, almost amber. Very fine white foam, not too generous. Aroma reminds of lime and resinous. Taste highlights the body given by malt, which supports the high bitterness, still markedly present(100 IBU). The beer leaves a nice dry mouth. Some sparkling feeling at the end, when instead the beer is initially relatively flat. A lovely IPA. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
