Bottled 330ml. -from Eataly Genova. Murky golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty caramel nose. Sweet malty, caramel, herbal hops, notes of citrus and touch of alcohol in the finish. Good one.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours transparent loaded gold with minimal white foam, fine. Aroma devotees marked sourness, part Brett, part acetic. Body is fairly dense, with moderate but interesting carbonation. Taste is pretty sour, with a good acetic feeling too. Finish is average.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours reddish/brown with no foam. Aroma is oxidated, wood, cloves. Body is not dense, with moderate carbonation, but leaves a nice stickiness. Taste is delicately sour, with some sweetness and generally with the oxidation feeling being dominant. Finish is long, sticky and sour.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30C/25C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L02/18 (BBF 07-2021). AROMA: medium spices aroma (nutmeg, clove, slight orange peel). APPEARANCE: light amber and slightly hazy. medium-low ivory head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-high nutmeg, clove, slight cinnamon, faint orange peel and coriander. background of medium-low to low sweet malt. balanced medium bitterness with a dry and spicy (nutmeg mostly) finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: an winter ale with a mix of spices where some are more prominent than others.

Il gusto al naso va sul frumento. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la continuità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma cremosa ha una buona tenuta, è persistente e voluminosa. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. La carbonazione è abbondante. Il liquido è di aspetto velato e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è media con carbonazione abbondante e vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buon equilibrio con l'amaro medio. L'aspro è leggero. L'intensità gustativa è normale. La costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato arrivano sentori di miele, frumento, agrumi, lime e banana.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2018. As others mentioned labeled as 1856, possible typo because no trace of such beer. Cloudy golden with small white head. Fruity, citrus, lemon, moderate saltiness, light sourness. Low carbonation. Light bodied.
