Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a glass tankard. Almost clear medium amber colour, good creamywhite head, slowly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma needs some time to develop, sweet malt, grain, anise, ouzo. Thin sweet and bitter taste, malty, grain, light anise. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, light sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering herbal backbone, lacks depth though, nice as an experiment.

33cl Fles bij Turfmarkt, Alkmaar. ABV is 7%. Mooie licht-mistige goud/koperkleur, witte kraag. Aroma is iets bloemig, iets harsig, moutig. Smaak is vrij oldskool, moutig, caramel, hars, citrus, bloemig, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Prima doordrinker, zelfs met 7%.

@Strand-Zuid Amsterdam, served in a shaker. Opaque medium amber colour, small frothy white head, diminishing mostly, light lacing. Aroma sweet malt, orange, bread. Taste medium sweet and light medium bitter, very malty, bready, some citrus. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, rather boorish brew, still okay.

-1 point for the light gushing, to huge and dense yellow head and a small muddy orange volume of beer. Nice fruity/citrussy nose, very lemonbalm-alike, lemon, lemonthyme; very inviting. Again really lemony with bitter hopoils backthroat. Finish is rather watery, logically seen its ABV. Carbonation very present seen the absence of flavour in the aftertaste. Starts very nice, but peters out.

330 ml bottle at Prachtig, Rotterdam. Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, small white head. Moderate aroma and flavour of American hops, some wheaty notes. Slightly sweet. Not bad, but does not really stand out from the crowd.
