330ml can at EDP November 2022, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is subtle vanilla and well, er’ perhaps not so subtle vanilla! The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, malt, earthy, sweet vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle at EDP 2022, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light bourbon. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a smooth, slightly watery, oaky, light bourbon, light sweet vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. Didn’t really taste get the alcohol but I’m sure it’s there somewhere!

Aromas are spice, orange, malt and a bit of yeast. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, on the sweet side up front, cut with some carbonation and a hint of bitter. Tastes a little bit like a homebrew. One and done.

Peppermint flavor certainly dominates; not much trace of bourbon or oak to be found. Chocolate and berry peek through underneath the mint, but this is a peppermint beer first and forward. Not bad, but a little more subtlety would be appreciated.

7 October 2022. At Yard House, San Antonio. Shared with the lovely Anke!

Clear amber, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of candied plum, golden raisin, dried orange peel, wet oak, vanilla, bourbon, pear, green apple. Taste has sweet plum, raisin & pear, hint of green apple, over a soft caramelly, brioche-like malt base, bit spicy. Herbal, slightly peppery hoppy finish, lingering caramel, dried fruit, woody bourbon alcohol & a whiff of vanilla. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Don't get the low score here, I thought this was a good unpretentious sipper.

This beer’s aroma and flavor are big on the oaky bourbon notes to start with. I tasted the tangerine more as it warmed. Sweet. Pretty good.

This amber colored beer smells of bourbon, blueberries, and vanilla. The flavor is sweet and malty with ample vanilla accented bourbon. The blueberries are pretty prominent. It’s fairly good. I think I’d like a better hops balance and complexity.
