Peanut butter, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Moderately sweet peanut butter, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Good body. Very good.

Tangerine, vanilla, light bourbon, biscuit malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet tangerine, creamy vanilla, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Vanilla heavy.

Old rating found back on paper, unsure of what year I've had (or had this one). Pours clear amber, small white head. Scent is full, buttery bourbon. Taste is full, tad bitter, intense bourbon, sweet, beer is a bit lost, but the endresult remains fairly nice.

Pours hazy deep gold with a small head. It smells of bourbon, a little cocoa, and malt. The flavor is sweet with bourbon, caramel malt, and cocoa. It’s pretty low on stout characteristics and reminds me of their flagship bourbon ale. It’s pretty good. I’d just expect more “stout”, even from a beer labeled as a golden stout.
