Description
We brought the variety of beers to Hanover back in 2014. Back then with our own specialty or beer shop, today we concentrate exclusively on brewing our own beers. The focus is always on the selection of the best raw materials and the taste of the beers. Brewing expressive beers doesn't mean compromising, especially when it comes to the ingredients. And we don't either! Because we love what we brew, diversity and creativity.

We develop all Mashsee beers on our self-designed microbrewery at our location in Wülfel. Only when we are completely convinced of a new recipe do we brew it ourselves on a large scale in our befriended breweries, Bürgerliches Brauhaus Wiesen and Union Brauerei Bremen. Everything by hand, of course.

The declared goal is and remains to build our own brewery in Hanover. Because only then can we and our brewing projects fully develop. So there is still a lot to be expected from us!

It is an average porter, it sounds more a stout than a baltic porter. The taste is with roasted malt, coffee, few vanilla touch and cocoa, 19.04.17, at Prélaz.

Pours clear amberblonde. Small white head. Scent is firm, citrussy (orange) hoppyness. Taste is full , quite bitter, malty, orange-citrussy notes. Kinda easy going, safe. Bit caramelly hops.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Black with a reddish hue, good moussy tan head, fair retention, light lacing. Aroma sweet malt, some roast, caramel, cocoa, some coffee. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, light roast, some coffee, chocolate, brown sugar, hint of smoke. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, smie dry sweetbitter aftertaste, mellow and friendly brew, very nice.

"Oma Lene", Fläschchen von Töpper, Moabit, jetzt mit 6,6 %. - Schwarzrot, undurchsichtig; fast schaumlos. Feine dunkelmalzige Herbe, sparsame Hopfung, Anklänge an Gruut. Trotz seiner 6,6 % wenig vollmundig, auch zu stark rezent. - Nicht so recht überzeugendes Weihnachtsbier, dem es an Körper aber auch an Finesse fehlt. (9.2.2025.)

Citrusy, grassy and malty. Good for an alcohol free beer.
