US Pint can (out of date, when drank (and bought)). Drank on 17th April 2025 in our Air B&B in Palm Springs, bought from Mirage Wine & Liquor. Mini-haze in the dull golden pour, wispy white head. Pleasant enough Lager after a day (well 5 hours) wandering around the Living Desert and Botanical Gardens with two grand daughters and family. Might have been better when fresh and younger, but it was still OK.

Random grab from my cellar. LCI—catching up on some old checkins 7 Feb. Tart cherry, barrel is present but doesn’t contribute much. Acetic.

0.50l bottle. Aroma is vinous, musty, dusty and overripe fruity with brett note. Pours cloudy amber color with medium sized soapy off-white head, yeast residue and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt and yeast, following is fruity and faint funky, mouthfeel is warm and spicy, while finish is average bitter. Full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Aroma is totally funky, while taste is more mellow and quite typical for Belgian strong ale…

Pours a clear golden body and a small white head with good retention. Aroma's: big resin, as if there's pine needles in there. Full pine forest really. Retronasal it's resin, citrussy sour. Flavour is light malty sweet and very light bitter, surprisingly. Medium bodied. Bitterness developes in the finish, and lingers pleasantly.

Pours a clear pale golden body and a small white head with little retention. Aroma's: malty, fruity, herbal, like cough candy. Retronasal it's quite herbal, but in an interesting way. Not sure which herbs, thyme maybe? Flavour is light moderate malty sweet and herbal. Light bodied. Light bitter finish.

Pours a cloudy yellow body and a small white head. Aroma's: wheaty, light fruity, clove. Retronasal it's sweetish, banana, grain, wheat. More like a Hefeweizen really. Flavor is rather sweet, wheaty, light herbal. Light bodied. Finishes slightly dry.

mild Belgian strong ale malty aroma, also flowers, bit like a blonde ale, perhaps one that had a bit of wood barrelling. Flavor is sweet but still dry malty, white wine, faint leather, very watery texture, the flowery and slightly herbal notes that is often found in belgian yellow ale. decent but nothing special. Quite mild and easy drinking for the ABV, could do very well in an afternoon summer party if you want to get someone or yourself drunk faster than expected.

Lots of rye on the nose. A bit over roasted maybe. Cooking chocolate, coffee, spice

Hoppy slightly toasted. Floral. Does what it should. And definitely a tannic tea note on the finish

Again, a pretty straightforward example of the style clean chocolate lightly roasted malt. Some citrus hop notes. A nice smooth balanced finish. Modicum-light body, medium carbonation (maybe slightly over carbed)
