About
We brought the variety of beers to Hanover back in 2014. Back then with our own specialty or beer shop, today we concentrate exclusively on brewing our own beers. The focus is always on the selection of the best raw materials and the taste of the beers. Brewing expressive beers doesn't mean compromising, especially when it comes to the ingredients. And we don't either! Because we love what we brew, diversity and creativity.

We develop all Mashsee beers on our self-designed microbrewery at our location in Wülfel. Only when we are completely convinced of a new recipe do we brew it ourselves on a large scale in our befriended breweries, Bürgerliches Brauhaus Wiesen and Union Brauerei Bremen. Everything by hand, of course.

The declared goal is and remains to build our own brewery in Hanover. Because only then can we and our brewing projects fully develop. So there is still a lot to be expected from us!

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before March 2025. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity-floral and a bit grassy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple and some passion fruit. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity-floral and slightly grassy taste of lemon peel, passion fruit, pineapple and hints of corn flakes, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great NA beer, fairly crisp and refreshing.

Slightly murky, light golden pour with a decent white head. Aromas of malt, mango, grapefruit. Taste is similar, some herbs for a lightly bitter finish. Not bad at all.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 24. Cheers Mark for this! Paired with some salted caramel chocolate. Pours a hazed brown, off-white head. Aroma of gingerbread, cinnamon. Flavour profile seems to captures the taste of those spicey gingerbread cookies well, with additional soreen maltloaf notes.

19th February 2024; Shrewsbury Gathering, five blokes and loads of beer to share. Cheers Mark for the 33cl bottle of this Christmas Lebkuchen beer. Tasted just like a Lebkuchen and it had that gingerbread aroma too. Impressive and sweet, a German Christmas in a bottle!
