Amberkleurig bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoet kruidig met iets van sinaasappel en mandarijn. Best goed.

Dark blond and hazy with lasting head. Aroma is nice with some floral notes. Flavour starts out quite dry and has some vanilla. Finish is sweet.

Fles 33cl in Vragender gedeeld. Flinke rooksmaak, hout, hoppig, bitter, citrus, zoet. Combi vindt ik wat minder. (27-6-2020).

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Pours a cloudy orange/amber color. Grainy breadyish taste, some pine and citrus orange.

Bottle. Black. Oak, vanilla, caramel, hints of whisky and roast in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty, caramelly flavor. Full bodied. Vanilla, whisky and oak. Rubber. A roasty bitterness in the finish. Slightly alcoholic, but a surprisingly good beer.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of fruity whisky, smoke, boozy red grape, raisin, vanilla and caramel. Taste of smoke, soft peat, raisin, vanilla, caramel, red grape, oak, licorice, chocolate and a long boozy scotch forward finish. Rich complex flavors, very nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before January 2022. Black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty, gently fruity-resiny aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, blueberry, tropical fruits and a touch of pine. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty, rather fruity-resiny taste of dark chocolate, coffee licorice, blueberry, tropical fruits and a touch of pine, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, gently resiny and slightly earthy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty BIPA, I wonder why this style has become so rare.
