Bottle at home. Aroma is dark chocolate, whiskey, dark malt, peaty, liquorice, creamy vanilla, oak. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with some nice roasty bitter notes in the finish. Body is above medium. Definitely my favourite of the three, a bit more subtle and balanced than the oher hellish goats.

Bottle at home. Aroma is rye bread, malt, caramel, fruity notes, floral, some citrus, herbal notes. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter finish. Body is light, watery. Fairly enjoyable beer.

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, plums, touch of smoke, sweetish ripe fruits, soft hops, hint of chocolate and coffee. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. I like this, not your typical Black IPA, but a good variation on the style!

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is strong fruity hops, tropical fruits, grapefruit, soft rye malt, citrus, hint of pine resin. Flavour is lightly sweet with a nice bitter finish. Body is light to medium. You know you’re an amazing brewer when you can get this level of hoppy aroma and body out of a light as feathers session beer. Impressive.

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is very potent coffee, espresso, roast, lactose-like milky creaminess, coffee grounds, mocha, with a touch of dark chocolate. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a very decent roasty bitter finish. Body is medium, bit creamy from the almonds. I really enjoyed the loads of creamy coffee from this excellent Coffee Stout.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, moderate peat, ash, darkest of chocolates, charred wood and coal. Quite a bitter roasty flavour with a little sweetness in there and some salty notes. Body is medium. Nicely strong bitter flavour with a potent ash peat coal aroma, very enjoyable if you dig these flavours.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is fruity hops, juicy fruits, lots of citrus, touch of lemon, citrus peel, light malt. Flavour has a firm hoppy fruit peel bitterness. Body is medium. Tons of juicy citrus with a firm hoppy fruit peel bitter flavour. Refreshing and juicy, an excellent citrus-heavy IPA.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is malt, heavy on the spices and herbs including ginger, peppery Saison yeast, and citrus. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Well-brewed, heavily spiced, bit overwhelming initially, but I settled into it.

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is piney hops, orange, mild tropical fruits, biscuity malt, grapefruit, lots of pine resin and a mild touch of caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Nicely resinous, could be a bit more aromatic perhaps, that being said this is a pretty smooth and very drinkable IIPA that pushes the right buttons. Well done Gijt.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is creamy malt, caramel, hops, curious herbal notes, dille? Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is almost medium but feels a bit weak. Hmmm, not sure what this is supposed to be. I like Natte Gijt a lot, but this is a bit of a mess.
