Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, oak, chocolate, whisky, tart dark fruits, berries, Flavour is tart and sourish with a light sweetness and some surprising bitterness in the finish. Body is medium, could have been a bit fuller. Overall pretty good, though the sourness will rub some the wrong way.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, tart red fruits, Bretty funk, oak, some chocolate, light peat. Flavour is sourish, light sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium, should be fuller for an Imperial Stout. Another sourish and funky Hellegijt (see: Ben Nevis), must be infected but it’s kinda nice. I don’t get much whisky besides a hint of peat, it’s mostly wood barrel notes.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is smoked rye malt, smoked bacon, caramel, biscuity malt, with a touch of ripe fruits. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Nice Rauchbock, kudos to Natte Gijt for doing something different than the predictable Dunkler Bock this season.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is heavy on the oak with dark malt, caramel, syrup, roast, alcohol, bit vinous, some fruits from the barrel, and mild cognac. Flavour is sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium to full. Not the most elegant barrel aging with a strong vinous sharpness, fairly enjoyable but could be better.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden, 2018 version. Aroma is resinous hops with malt, pine resin, orange, tropical grapefruit, herbal-ish notes with leaves, more resin throughout. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Not that fruity but I really like the thick pine resin, good resinous IPA.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Juicy looking beer with a lot of sediment. Aroma is fruity with apricot, citrus, soft wheaty malt, spicy coriander, salt, and yeasty notes. Flavour is salty with a moderate sweetness and a light sourness. Body is medium. Nicely fruity with lots of apricot, a bit sweeter than I expected with a rather subdued sourness. Good Gose!

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt with oak, soft smoke, caramel, a touch of cocoa, and a little dried fruitiness. Flavour is mildly sweet and bitter. Body is medium which feels a little thin for the aroma. Overall a fine oaky smoky Bock.

Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is not that hoppy and pretty malty with caramel, notes of ripe fruits, soft resin. Bittersweetish flavour, medium body. More of a malty English IPA, not very Grindcore.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is spoiled yoghurt with pineapple, bready wheat, salty notes. Salty and mildly tart flavour, medium body. Too bad about the 'spoiled' aroma, it's quite distracting.
