Smell of hops, grass. Copper colour, high beige head. Aroma of rye, hops, spruce. Bitter. Very flat carbon. Dry palate. Maybe lacking a bit of edge, but generally a nice rye beer.

Can from LCBO in Ottawa. Clear amber pour with dense head. Wet but slightly stale hoppy aroma. Taste is similar. Has the bitter bite of a lager and some dank hoppiness but not a lot going on. Very light and a bit watery. Not a repeat.

Can from the LCBO. Dark brown pour with a foamy beige head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, toffee and vanilla. Light sweet opening with mildly bitter middle and finish. Vanilla is more prominent than in the nose but everything is quite subdued. Mouth is short of medium with soft carbonation. Overall, quite subdued for a stout.

A can from the LCBO. Served in a pilsner glass. A clean hoppy aroma but fairly neutral. The taste is bitter with pine & maybe hints of tropical fruits with a decent malt backbone. A solid IPA but not much more than average, I love the name though.
