Fairly clean (gets hazy at last pour), medium-golden with mild carbonation, with a frothy white cap, good stay and lots of lacing. Belgian spicy yeast aromas with nice herbal-hop notes, hints of citrus and some wheat-banana touch that comes out eventually. The flavours are a blend of light grassy-citrusy hops, with the Belgian yeast adding nice spiciness, a mineral water touch and a tad bananas. A pretty nice brew with a mix of Belgian Blonde and Saison.

On my way to Collective Arts, ending up in this back road, where I found Clifford Brewing. Slightly hazed, golden-amber colour with a warm-whitish head that stays quite some time and leaves nice creamyish lacing. The guava is very present in the nose with mild sourness and the blood orange sitting in the background. This last fruit shows a little more in the taste with some tartiness left on the tongue. A decent fruity-sour brew with guava and some blood orange notes.

An amber copper ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, OK. On tap at Craft Beer Market Ottawa.

Part of the Nita IPA Mix Pack, this one pours a slight hazed amber colour with golden highlights. The head is frothy, almost creamy, light-beige with good retention and patches of lacing. Mostly malty nose with some caramel notes. The taste is where the hops appear. Big bitterness with a milder dry finish. The caramel malt background is still there, but the hops adds lots of fresh herbal goodness. Definitely a nice 2011 Imperial IPA, when malt was fairly important. Nicely balanced!

This IPA poured a cloudy, deep yellow colour with a creamy, white head. Nice lacing. Scents include sweet passion fruit, sweet malt and grapefruit. First swig was delicious. Not as hoppy as expected, nor bitter either. Flavours of grapefruit, pineapple and orange citrus most prominent. Finish is hoppy, but with minimal bitterness lingering.
