Can from the LCBO. Very dark brown pour under a small lingering mocha head. Nose is lots of roast, chocolate and coffee with some vanilla. Light sweet molasses and medium dark chocolate and coffee bitterness. medium creamy mouth that finishes slightly powdery. Slightly soft carbonation. Well balanced porter. 9/4/8-/4-/15

A dark reddish brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, plums, licorice, nice. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, cherries, light tartness, light citrus pulp, cinnamon, light coffee grind. Cask Days 2016.

A deep dark porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, nice sweet chocolate malt with light vanilla , light powdery character, interesting. In mouth, a nice bitter sweet chocolate with coffee grind, sweet vanilla, light powdery character, nice. On tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2016.

Keg at Bar Hop. Hazy orange body with a thick white head. Good lacing. Aroma of orange pith and honey. Flavour of sweet malt, dried orange peel and pine. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Quite sweet but a decent APA.

A golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, biscuit malt with grassy resinous hops, light sulfur, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2015.

Draft - Nice solid dark roast. Me black with a light brown head. Lots of roast, touch of burnt toast and a bitter finish. Not bad.
