Can from Systembolaget. Malty aroma. Lovely mahogany. Little sediment. Strange to claim this is like an English ale, I mean yeh a little bit but its too bitch and malty thick. Spirit like boozy ending..doesn't do it for me to be honest.

Can from the Bench/Henderson Collab Mixer, pouring a clean light-golden colour with a bubbly white cap, not lasting too long, but some decent lacing spots left on the glass. Lemony aromas with a cereal grain malt base and some yeastiness. The taste is mild, with the citrus notes balanced with the cereal malts, hints of apples, pears and some light grassiness in the finish giving a last push to bring up the taste. Getting a tad pineapples as well all-around. A decent light IPL with more yeast in the nose, and lots happening in the flavours.

500ml bottle from the LCBO. Hazy dark mahogany with a small tan head that fades quickly and leaves spotty lace. Nose is cherry forward with additional dark fruit, vanilla, pepper, dark chocolate and red wine. Light cherry tartness with a medium- dark chocolate bitterness in the middle with a lighter cherry tartness through the finish. Mouth is full and oily with soft carbonation. 8/4-/8/4-/15

Bottle. Clear bronze colour, head is firm beige white. Nose is bready, hay, leaf, somewahat spicy. Fairly sweet, malty upfront with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel with long bitter finish. Clean and easy to drink, well made.
