355mL can, pours a mostly clear copper amber with a small white head. Aroma has soft toasted malt, some bready crusts, and some graininess. Flavour is grainy and mineraly in a way that doesn't seem quite right, but there's a nice, dry bready crust character, and some soft toasted malt. Too grainy and mineraly. It's alright.

Poured from 355mL can (thanks Nico; pkg 19 June 2023). Lightly hazed medium dark brown with small beige head. Muted rye malt character with grassy hop bitterness. Decent.

355mL can, pours a deep dark amber / mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark rye bread, a little caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is dry, with plenty of dark rye bread, dry caramel, some bitterness, and bready malt. Thicker and richer than a true Dusseldorfer alt and amply bitter -- but there's no metallic issue that a lot of those have. Pretty nicely done.

Can, courtesy of Ryan
Dark gold colour, antique. Aroma of malt, bread, but also paper and vomit. Dry mouthfeel, crisp; biscuty malts, a bit grassy, with balanced bitterness.
Good, but it tastes like the beer from somebody who's trying hard to brew German beers.

Thanks David P for sharing! Solo cup showing pitch black with sparse latte tinged foam.

The nose shows moderately intense dark chocolate and light milk chocolate.

The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Light brett tartness with moderately intense notes of coffee and an burnt toasted bitterness.

Poured from 355mL can (thanks Nico). Clear-ish gold with small white head. Tons of phenols with some mild esters and dry saaz hops. Flavours clash, way too phenolic. Not digging this.

355mL can, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some spicy phenols, Belgian yeast, gentle esters, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is loaded with spicy phenols -- bordering on the burnt rubber character -- along with clove, and biscuity malt. Too much phenolic character. Not very good.

Poured from 355mL can (thanks Nico). Hazed copper orange with small off white head. Banana esters, gentle clove, wheaty texture. Decent.

355mL can, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly fruity, with toasted chestnuts, red fruits, clove, and banana esters. Flavour is fruity, dry, and estery, with plenty of banana-like esters, clove, toasted bread, some red fruits, and toasted chestnuts. Pretty authentic, homing on that estery/clove-y character, with the added maltiness to make it a proper dunkelweizen. Solid stuff.
