Bottle discounted, but I couldn't find any bottling of BBE date. Pours a deep dark, almost black body with a frothy light brown head that leaves a small blanket. Aroma's of (roasted) malt, coffee, grind, dark chocolate, figs, spices. Retronasal: roasted, dark chocolate, fruity. Flavour is (light) moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied, a bit on the thin side for a beer this big. Finishes with roasty bitterness.
