Bottle at home, from 2016, #2556 . Pours deep, semi hazy golden with thick, quickly disappearing head. Nose is peaty, bacon, a touch of sweetness. In taste the smoke is more moderated, leaving space for the wheat wine characteristics and the long lasting finish is a joint effort too, there's some smoke and some sweet wheatwine character as well. Light to medium bodied with soft to medium carbo. It seems that time did this one good as there's no trace of the overwhelming, unbalanced smoke, this is a delicious, well balanced beer indeed.

Bottle at home. Pours jet black with no head. Nose is chocolate, cocoa powder, earthy notes, a fruity touch; quite pleasant but not too deep. Taste is chocolate again, there's cocoa too, and a good amount of fruity character from the wine, some woody touch and a definite, but not overpowering warming alcohol presence too. The body feels a bit too thin, which is a pity cause otherwise it's a pretty great beer.
