Description
Crooked Run is a brewery in Loudoun County, Virginia. We started back in 2013 in a 600 sq ft space in Leesburg. Now, we have a ten barrel brewery and taqueria, where we produce many different beers for a thriving taproom with great food, great people, and great music. You can find our beer around the DMV and at all the best beer bars. It took a lot of work and love to get here, and we're very happy to be able to share what we love with you.

Coffee pretty much neutralizes all the elements that would have made this a tripel. I’m glad I had this because I will now never seek out and drink a coffee tripel again. Kind of like through a flavor hand grenade into a tripel. Elements mesh well regardless, but this isn’t a tripel, it’s something else. Pours dark brown with ok head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Tap at spacebar.

On tap at World of Beer in Reston, pours an opaque black with some slim, lacing, cream colored head. Nose has some roast and malt, burnt caramel, some candy, some dried fruits, mild coffee but not over powering, some toasted almond. Flavor is sweet, both candy and caramel, malt, toast, the coffee is more prevalent, some yeast. Full bodied, lightly sweet finish. The coffee was extremely mild and probably could have been pushed much further with good results.
