From tap at Zlý Časy, Prague, after seeing The Secret by Smetana at the National Theatre 26.06.25. Murky straw colour. Aroma and taste of peach, apricot, papaya, herbs and white pepper. Solid citrus bitterness and mango sweetness in aftertaste.

Draught No head left, jet-black beer. Treacle, toffee nose, bit of rust, breadcrust. More of the same in the oral cavity. Noted that the sweetness is quite kept in check. Roast, coffee, black syrup, but not sugary. Alcoholburn, bit -thinning. Very oily to viscous. Not special, if quite OK.

Hazy orange color with white head. Tropical fruity hoppy aroma with mango, pasion fruits, oranges. Taste si very similar. In medium long finish, there is light hoppy bitterness. Very good.

Tap at Krymská, Prague. Amber color with medium white head. Clear aroma of Cascade hops, later caramel malt arrived, moderate oxidation.Taste is different, firstly there is a caramel malt, and papery oxidation, very lightly complemented with citrus hops.

Tap at Krymská. Amber golden color with white head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops wirh grapefruit,
Zest, pines. Taste is the same. Without caramel, drinkability would be higher.

Tap at Bad Flash Karlin. Orange pour, white head. Nose is lactic sourness, mango, a nice malty touch, spicy notes. Taste is slightly sour first, then a short mango sweetness appears, but it quickly turns into the chili spicyness. Long lasting hot chili finish with just enough malty depth to keep it interesting. Light body, average carbonation. Noice.

Tap at Kulovy blesk BF TTO. Dry, rather thin bodied, medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, light sweetness. Malt in the background. Hops-centered, even though the hops do not shine as much in a lager. Still sufficient grassy, lemony, citrusy, dank hops character. Easy drinking, tasty, quite good.

Aroma of malts, some caramel, tropical fruits, light resin, hops. Flavour is malty and fruity hops with a medium bitterness in the aftertaste. The brewer has named this American Amber Lager, but only the American applies I guess, because this is rather a malty APA. Either way, it’s a nice brew.
