Armageddon in SC continues during my vacation. F’ ing crazy hurricane damage. The flavor has a weak grain base, low bitterness, almost no sweetness. Somewhat of a clean finish. You can’t expect much from this style.

Deep copper and light amber coloured body with a quite thick, three to four centimetre tall off-white microfoamed head that stays on top nicely above the very clear, but super effervescent body. Aroma of pure fruit candy with some apples, apricots, pears, peaches and some grass too for good measure, but this almost smells like a fruit beer, but some alpha acid bitterness is noticeable in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Very crisp malt notes show a funky dry and herbal aspect with a perfumey, almost factory-made additive to the tend with a strong bitterness that comes from the stone fruits and dry hoppiness that is strong, especially at the end. Aftertaste is crisp, robust, relatively easy-ish drinking with more apricot, apple and pear flavours than 'traditional' beer notes, but the dry malts, perfume and grassiness bring out a more rounded profile. Overall, fairly nice and super fruity, with an easy-drinking profile that seems close to 7,0 per cent alcohol and not even close to Imperial Status. Great to sample as a Veteran's Day IPA on Memorial Day. Thanks to those who served and gave everything. We owe it all to you. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Charleston, South Carolina on 28-December-2021 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 29-May-2022.

Light brown color, woody and floral aroma. Earthy, woody, toasty, a little toffee flavor. A little malt sweetness as it warms. Dry finish.
