Bottle. Poured a dark, murky ruddy red color with a small white head. Aroma was currant, tart. Flavor was funky fruit, pleasant and pretty tasty. I liked this one.

50cl bottle pours a murky, garnet amber with a ring of white head. Nose is good, cranberry and apple cider vinegar, sour malts. Flavor hits, malt and dried berry, acid. Really well blended. Medium bodied, medium acid. Nice.

Bottle from the sales bin @ Sterk. Opened with a firm hiss, and the foam was already pushing itself out of the bottle before I could pour it. Black colour, light beige head the quickly disappears. The aroma explains a lot: sour, a bit fragrant (floral), artificial honey, and some cocoa powder. Retronasal it's sour and lightly sweet. Flavour is sour with a hint of chocolatey sweetness. Warming alcohol. Medium bodied. Flavour lingers. Somewhat reminiscent of Flemish sour browns, but not what you'd expect from an impy. If the quality of their beers was mainly like this, I can see why this brewery went out of business....

500mL bottle, explodes upon opening, pours black with a small tan head. Nose burns my nostril hairs, with paint thinner, burning tires, and vinegar. Flavour is infected as hell, with paint thinner, vinegar, and burnt tires. How can you sell this? Doesn't get much worse than this. I want my money back.

Batch 3. Exactly what you'd expect a chocolate sour to taste like, sour tart upfront, chickory nose, sweet throughout with a chocolate/date back. After the initial shock it's damn tasty.
