On tap @ the brewery. Pours a bit hazy golden orange appearance with a cream colored head. Light pine, grapefruit/orange citrus, spicy herbal hoppy aroma. Medium body. Slight candy taste with a fair amount of citrus and new world hops. Light caramel. Pretty easy to drink. Fine.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a dark reddish brown appearance with a brown head. Cocoa, burnt sugar, light toffee, and a hint of smoke in the nose. Medium light body. Slight sweetness. Medium light bitterness. Caramelized sugar, grass, earth, and light chocolate in the flavor. Moderate plus carbonation. A hint of nuts of fruits. Pretty good.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Aroma is a little husky and grainy. Some lemon, spice, and corn as well. Light to medium body. Grassy and grainy. Fairly dry. Moderately high bitterness. Again some corn. Not that appealing to me.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow, with thickish head. Aroma is very grassy and so is the flavor. Lots of grass, with just a bit of underlying fruitness. So far, the best thing Bauhaus has going for them is the graphic design on their cans.

Czech pils is one of those styles I seek out since my travel in the Czech Republic. I am by no means an expert on the style but have had enough of the real thing to recognize a good pils when i have it. And this is an outstanding American example. Lots of dry, grassy hops in the aroma, some citrus. Dry bread and dry; mildly bitter flavor and a bone dry grassy aftertaste.

Tap at the brewery. Dark brown. Well roasted grains, but enough sugar. Lager yeast with malt and surprisingly full flavor. Actually a good interpretation of the style.

Tap at the brewery. Eben nailed this description. There are a fair amount of hops but it is not especially bitter, but with light sweetness; grass; and flowers of the hops and some bread from the malt. Good.
