16 oz. can from Pat's Liquor - Sanford. Pours a sper dark brown color with a large tan head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Roasted chocolate aroma. Flavors of bitter dark chocolate and molasses (or is that the Jameson?) Creamy mouthfeel. Medium-heavy body. Long finish. I would not call this a dry stout. Good stout overall, but the Jameson is wasted on me.

Can (unsure of date, but was relatively fresh), drunk 6/5/21.
Drab, yellowish-pineapple-gold with an immediately-fizzling, off-white head. Lightly hazy.
Smells like frickin cereal milk. Little/no sourness comes through in the nose which is surprising and good, because I don't think I'd like spoiled cereal milk aroma. That said, there's no beer character, or very little, behind it.
In the mouth it's revolting. Tastes like spoiled cereal milk with a bit of pineapple which I don't think goes well at all with trix (Imagine cutting up some pineapples and tossing them in a bowl of trix...). Sourness just doesn't match the rest of the beer, and the pineapple is way too punchy acidic. Just shockingly bad.

Turns out sours brewed with Trix and Skittles taste like basically every other sour. Slightly sweet. Very tart. Eh. Cool label.

12 oz. can from The Mansion. Pours a pitch black color with a tan head and decent retention. Small bits of lacing. Dark chocolate aroma. Bitter dark chocolate and lactose with a warming alcohol finish. The lactose helps keep it from being too bitter. Thick mouthfeel and Medium-heavy body. The 9.0% ABV is fairly hidden, but it still suppresses the overall flavors. Good, but would be great with less alcohol.

16 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a classic clear bronze color with a beige head and decent retention. No lacing. Lots of streaming carbonation. Caramel malt aroma. The flavor follows the nose. Sweet caramel malt flavor dominates with a little bread and very faint bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Very smooth and clean and easy drinking. Good American example of the style. Aaahh, October in May.

500 ml. Aroma has notes of birthday cake, chocolate. Pours cola black-brown with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is highly sweet with flavors of birthday cake. Although it's tasting awesome right now, I don't doubt that I'll be getting tired of it towards the end of the bottle. It's very sweet.

I don't think I've ever had king cake but this is pretty delicious cinnamon cake vibes, sweet and thick, rum BA isn't my favorite but I think it works well here to focus the spice. Thanks Art D.

Can pour from Table and Vine, W. Springfield. It's an opaque black with mahogany at bottom of glass, light sparkle at the edges of the glass and 1/2-finger crackling ephemeral fizzy head and no lacing. Aroma is strong fudge and earthy roasted malt. Taste is fudge with slightly astringent orange liqueur (mellows as it warms to more creamsicle). Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and mostly orange finish. Overall, orange is less harsh and better balanced with the chocolate as it warms but never gets fully dialed in. Nothing to write home about.
