Pretty hazy golden and straw coloured body with a pretty large pure white head, that starts at about six centimetres in height and while if fades quickly, it leaves a really nasty lace on the sides. Aroma of fresh grassy and herbal hops with a bit of pepper noticeable, along with a dash of hay and flowers, along with some hop pellets, but not much else, aside from some meaningful and balanced malt notes. Aftertaste shows a robust wheatie and easy-drinking malt characteristic, but some herbal, grassy and floral notes with some good bitterness from the hops coupled with a light dose of sweetness from fruits on the end, but the malt provides a good balance throughout that still lets the hops do the focus here. Overall, a nice and robust IPA with a good balance and blend of styles that really shows mostly like a pure East Coast IPA beer with a light grassiness that is more MidWest than not, a good option for those who are here in town. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased a few minutes ago from Freeman's Liqour Store in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023 for US$2,59 sampled in my hotel room here in [downtown] Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023.

Pour is a red with almost no head at all. Aroma is mostly raspberries with a little yeast ester. Flavor is about the same. big time raspberry with a little ester at the end to remind you this is a saison and not a plain old fruit beer.

750 ml bottle from Tavour. Cellared for about 15 months. 2016 vintage? Dark mahogany wood color, some bubbles of carbonation. Aroma shows mild oak, subtle rye bourbon, raisins. The flavor shows good dark fruits with a mild lasting oak. The booze has died off a good amount. Shows a light tannic oak in the finish. Pretty good barley wine.

12 oz single purchased at Missie’s Discount Liquors in Shawnee, Kansas. The pour is opaque black brown with a lasting ½ inch khaki head. The aroma is cane sugar, hint of soy, roast malt. Hint of honey in there too. The taste is a nice blend of the roast and honey sugar sweet malt with an interesting floral yeast to the finish. The palate is medium bodied with roast sweet and yeast finish with a slick mouth feel. Bit of alcohol heat as the beer warms. Solid.

Bottle. Clear dark copper color with a creamy beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, spice, sugar cookies. Tastes like a liquefied Christmas candle, if that’s your thing.

Can, thanks to DrunkSanta410. Poured hazy dark orange with large foamy off-white head, low carbonation, medium bitter caramelized rye taste, somewhat thick body, long bitter finish with caramel aftertaste. Interesting test of dominance between hops and the rye.
