Sampled on draft at Pipers this beer poured a very pale yellow color with a small soapy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was apple juice, a hint of cinnamon, apple peel and a hint of ginger. The flavor was surprisingly sweet for this company with tart apple juice, a hint of candied ginger, a touch of cinnamon, sugar and lemon. Long sweet and tart apple juice and ginger finish. Medium body. Pretty tasty.

On tap at the Beaver Brewing Brewpub. Barely any CO2 but it is there, visibly and ont he palate. Clear light yellow. Not bad, much less drier than expected. Can’t really taste the hops so its not offensive. Yes, not as dry as I expected. pretty good overall.

Growler from Arsenal. Pours a crystal clear golden color. Fizzy white head that fades instantly. Aroma of tart apples and earthy hops. The hops strip out any of the cider complexities. The taste is peppery, spicy hops, apples, earth, some tannic notes. Medium bodied. Not bad, but I’m still not sold on the hopped cider idea.

On tap at the brewery. I believe this is a regular brew. Pours a mostly clear straw color. A big rich nose of apples. The flavor is full of tart and sweet apples, loads here, some green flavors, even some sugar. Very good cider.
