No kidden, this stuff was poured into my glass directly from the the oak barrel! Woody apple aroma. No CO2 on the palate, completely flat. Smooth and interesting. Clear near yellow appearance. Big difference in taste when compared one on one witht the plain Picket Bone Dry Hard Apple Cider. Leathery or something in there. Yes, oak does certainly make a personality here. Stronger finsh for a dry cider, but never rude.

On tap at the cider house. Clear pour, nice lean apple cider aroma. Very friendly initial impressions. Little sweet fun. Lovely flavors. Tasty tasrt easy and yummy. Quite good overall brew tasting experience. One of cider house’s better brews. Some fine hidden co2 in there.

Growler pour from mid-February. Pours a pale golden. Aroma has some cool minty herbs with a little honey and green apple. Flavor is similar, cool mint, honey, tart apple, and a little funky. This is really a delicious cider; I love the slight minty tone that’s going on the whole way through.
