On tap at the brewery. I liked this more than Dan, but it has flaws. Pours a clear yellow color. A big nose of heat and apples. The whiskey was directly put into the brew, making it harsh and unrefined, hot, crisp almost tart flavors, very light vanilla. Still, an interesting and good idea. Age it in barrels with a bigger sweeter cider.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a light yellow color, no head (of course). A big saffron and spice nose. Pretty smooth, a bit of a thin palate (this is in relation to other meads and I refer to a lack of motuhfeel not carbonation), more floral and spicy notes. Of course sweet honey. Pretty nice. Some lingering bursts of citrus like ginger spiciness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white bubble of head. A big nose of apples and citrus. The flavor really shines with ginger notes, apples, earthy, yeasty and dry. Very good. Ginger ale-like.

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow color with a small fizzy white head. A sweet light apple nose. Really dry flavor, effervescent, champagne yeast (?), some tart apple. Very good.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a pale yellow-gold color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded very quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tangy apple and strong cinnamon. The flavor was sweet, tangy, tart and had a moderate apple juice presence followed by very strong cinnamon and sugar. Tasted like an apple strudel. Moderately full bodied though undercarbonated. Very long finish. Yummy.

Sampled on draft this cider poured clear like water with a faint yellowish tinge - no head and no lacing. The aroma was dry and tart cider vinegar. The flavor was very dry, tart, astringent and tasted like cider vinegar with a bit of carbonation - only a bit as this was also very lightly carbonated. Long finish. Light body. At least the tap handle was pretty.

A sweeter cider, very nice initial taste impressions. Fun and easy. Nice to drink and reather refershing. Just as good as fighten elleck but different in its own way. Could not identify brown suger but sweeter it is! Very good overall tasting experience. Fine tasty finish. Glad to have this available in Pittsburgh.

Very dry apple aroma. Clear with barely any yellow in there at all. Dry with a tart feel. Much better than my own dry cider. Good finish with a tad of creamy co2.
